I bought this book for my 19 months old daughter and she loves it! We don't have a dog but we often see friendly puppies during our walks, so she really enjoys reading a book where she recognizes the main animal. She makes barking sounds, gets excited when she sees the picture of the dog chasing a ball or going on a walk. The short paragraphs for each letter are very relatable and engaging enough to keep her attention. Will definitely get a few more copies for our friends with kids!

I thought that this was a fun twist on the ABC books that are available.
It had some good illustrations and I liked that the letters each had a rhyme featuring Rhea, the German Shepherd so it would be a hit with dog lovers, but there are brighter and more attractive books in the market and I think it would struggle to stand out against them.
The book flows well and it is 3 stars from me for this one.

An excellent ABC book with rhymes for each letter featuring Rhea, the German Shepherd. The book flows, the rhymes are felicitous, and the dog is beautiful, a trait held in common by all German Shepherds. I love alphabet books, and this one just feels downright comfy!
