He is the author of numerous books on armies and uniforms and is a regular contributor to many specialized magazines in Italy, France, Netherlands and UK. A excellent book for wargamers and modellers and those with an interest in the period. An informative text is well illustrated with photos of re-enactors, other photographs and line drawings. This series reminds me very much of the old WRG 'Armies and Enemies' series of books. Highly recommended.
